TROY REID
GENERAL MANAGER AUCKLAND, MONTANA GROUP CO-OWNER
Troy brings a unique combination of organisational and creative flair to his roles in the Montana Group. Starting his training in the Royal New Zealand Navy, Troy went on to work in a series of New Zealand and London’s finest restaurants. Working alongside Michelin starred chefs has left Troy with a passion for combining originality, stimulation, taste and texture. Troy is the General Manager for Flame Tree Kitchen, having joined the Montana family
in 2006.
MARK WEBSTER
OPERATIONS MANAGER,
EDUCATION
Mark joined the team at the University Halls of Residence as Group Head Chef in 2014. Mark has over 30 years of kitchen experience in various restaurants and hotels in the UK and Auckland such as the Heritage Hotel. Recently, Mark’s role has been changed to Operations Manager, Education as he oversees both the University of Auckland Halls of Residence and Auckland
Grammar School.
SHELLEY JANSEN
SALES AND EVENT EXECUTIVE
AUCKLAND
Shelley started with Flame Tree in 2019 as an events coordinator and moved to become Operations Manager, now in her current role as Sales and Event Executive. She has a passion for events and excels in administration and client relationships. Her previous work experience comes from the non-profit sector coordinating large fundraising campaigns and large scale events.
LAWRENCE LEOW
FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER, AUCKLAND
Lawrence comes from an extensive hotel background and restaurants. His experience in managing multiple functions across multiple venues comes in handy at Flame Tree. Lawrence oversees the Front of House operations including staffing and logistics. He has built a strong supervisory team who work closely to deliver every function to the highest standard. Lawrence also is proficient with financials, cost control, budgets and has many ties with suppliers, and clientele.
