Firstly let me congratulate you and your team on the successful delivery of the Distinguished Alumni Awards catering. We have received excellent feedback about the event from guests and staff, and the catering was no exception.
Carlos – you delivered outstanding dishes on all three courses (I have no words for the short rib). Our guests loved the courses that were served and we are hearing about the food even today. Please pass our thanks also to your team of chefs!
Lydia – thank you for all your help in the lead up to the event, you were very patient with our changes as well as on the night of the event when we are all under pressure to deliver to time.
Your front of house team did an excellent job of serving almost 400 guests without incident; this was very much appreciated as the level of expectation from our guests is very high.
I would also like to make special mention of your team who manage the floor like pro’s – Avi, Jay, Guillaume (not sure if I spelt this correctly), and of course yourself; I enjoy watching your team work, they do a great job!

Overall, your efforts on Saturday were fantastic. Nearly all of the reviews that we’ve had are glowing and positive – great service, great food and an overall great result. In the next few days we will send out a survey to all of our attendees too – any feedback regarding catering I will make sure to pass along to you. I can personally say that I found my chicken main delicious, and that the team were a pleasure to deal with. Although as with any event there were problems along the way, all of these were ironed out quickly and professionally. Special thank you to both Guill and Kamila for all of your patience and efficiency - you are both huge assets to the Montana team.

I wanted to pass on a massive thank you to everyone that worked on ASPIRE this year. We couldn’t have pulled it off without each and every single one of you playing your part. I greatly appreciated having a team to work with as wonderful as you all; team work makes the dream work!
My biggest thank you does go to Flame Tree who pulled off something entirely knew for themselves, us and OGGB, a seated lunch for 500+ pax! What an amazing display of team work seeing you turn that set up around in under 1.5 hours and providing such excellent service to all the attendees. We just wanted to give you and all your staff a big thanks for making Stuart and Kathi's wedding such a memorable day! Your preparation was meticulous and the whole day went without a hitch.
We are so glad you recommended the Karaka Paviliion to us. It is a beautiful venue, spacious, quiet and relaxing, room for the kids to run around and for the adults to sit a have a chat with an expresso or drinks from the cafe. The Parade Ring was beautifully themed for the reception and all credit to Holly for doing such a wonderful job in creating such a lovely atmosphere.
The canapes and buffet were superb, from starters, mains to desserts, there was plenty and it was all delicious! Our friends thought your chicken curry in particular was yum! The Seafood Island was a real hit with the guests, it was beautifully presented and the selection was perfect. Compliments to the Chef!
Our guests have commented on how professional the whole day went and that is a reflection on you and Jay and the rest of your staff who looked after our guests in such a friendly and polished manner.
